Last night, Suave rocked the crowded at Dubla Music's 3rd Annual Holladay Hop at The Big Top! We'll be releasing a special LIVE audio clip from his performance this weekend, so stay tuned. Shoutout to JusKwam and our entire Inner Recess family for the good vibes!

Tomorrow night, you can find Suave vibin' out at a special Soulcial Engineering Edition of Liberation Lounge featuring the soul brother Elliot Luv plus David X, Exquisite, Liqwid, Tank, and the Mighty Mighty BlackStar Bangas. Make your way to BlackStar Books and Caffe early - the open mic starts at 7pm!

Weekend of Soul

Suave and the Soul Star Rhythm Section would like to thank everyone for an amazing weekend of live shows and good vibes! Look out for the video footage of our Saturday night performance at the McKenna Museum of African American Art for Noyo Presents: Pass It On. Suave, the Mighty Mighty BlackStar Bangas, and Babatunde Omowale put on a show you had to see to believe! Then, Sunday night, we brought that same funk to Liberation Lounge at BlackStar Books and Caffe - and we can't wait to do it all again on November 28th!

Join Suave for an acoustic performance as he shares the same stage as acclaimed Def Poet, Sunni Patterson, this Sunday, July 11, 2010 at Black Star Books & Caffe for Liberation Lounge at 7pm.

The show will also feature the beautiful iCon the Artist of Team Sno (Slam New Orleans) and band Babatunde Omowale.
